From time to time we will adopt our older retired adults out to forever, Loving, indoor homes. The advantage of an older dog verses a puppy is plenty: No puppy stage to go through, most older ones are either pad trained or housebroken, some are trained to both. We know their personality and can match up with families easier. They are used to being groomed and usually more laid back.
